Cole Elementary School had 400 families show up for their Fall Family Literacy Night which highlighted their new Homework Policy.

The students at Cole are reading 20 to 30 minutes a night at home and journaling about it with their parents and/or siblings.  Parents have been given hands-on questions to ask their children to guide them in their comprehension of what they are reading.  Our friends from NPT and the Edmondson Pike Public Library were with us to share in the cooperative effort to increase reading at Cole.

It was a great night to be an Eagle!
